Sometimes it's necessary to reset the inverter when the online monitoring connection has dropped. Here’s how to do it:

Step 1
Switch off the AC (alternating current) side. You can do this in your fuse box by flipping the switch for the solar group (look for the one with the Zonnefabriek sticker) to the off position.

Next, go to the inverter. You will see a blinking light indicating that it is now in error mode because the AC has been switched off.
Now we will also switch off the DC (direct current, coming from the panels). You can do this by turning the DC switch on the device. The DC switch is a knob located at the bottom of the unit, as indicated by the red arrow in the image below.

After some time, communication with Sunny Portal and the SMA Energy App should typically resume. Note: The graphs for daily, monthly, and yearly yields may take a bit longer to appear. They usually become visible again on My Zonnefabriek and the Zonnefabriek app after a few hours.
