The sustainability loan is a special loan available through your municipality. The advantage of the sustainability loan is the significantly lower interest rate. Similar to subsidies, municipalities determine the policies regarding sustainability loans. This loan was introduced as an alternative to subsidies and may not be offered by every municipality.
VAT Refund
When purchasing solar panels, you can claim back the VAT if you register as a solar energy entrepreneur with the Dutch Tax Office. This can provide significant savings on your solar panels.
