Are you a private individual or a company?

Private service contracts for solar panels

We have two types of private service contracts for solar panels: Basic and Plus. Read here what they include.

Monitoring (Basic and Plus)

Zonnefabriek monitors the operation of your system. We check whether the yield meets expectations. Sometimes there are malfunctions in a solar system. A malfunction can mean that we cannot see the yield of the system, but in some cases a malfunction means that the system is not generating any energy.

Malfunction notification within 5 days (Basic and Plus)

When we observe a malfunction, we will contact you within 5 working days to report the malfunction.

Remote troubleshooting (Basic and Plus)

If a malfunction occurs due to an internet connection problem, our service department can help remotely to resolve the malfunction.

No call-out fees for malfunction follow-up (Plus)

Sometimes it is not possible to resolve a malfunction remotely, then a physical visit by our service team is needed to solve the problem. With a Plus contract, the call-out fees for this visit are covered by the contract.

No labor costs for malfunction follow-up outside of warranty (Plus)

Furthermore, with a Plus contract, the labor costs for the visit of our service team are also covered. This of course only applies to installations where the installation warranty has expired 5 years after installation. Within 5 years after installation, the labor costs are still covered by the warranty.

Business maintenance contracts for solar panels

We have three types of business maintenance contracts for solar panels: Basic, Basic + Scope 12 (5 yearly) and Basic + Scope 12 (3 yearly). Read here what they include.

Monitoring

The PV system is connected to the internet and remotely monitored by Zonnefabriek. When the monitoring of the system shows that the installation is not functioning properly, we will contact a contact person designated by you. Together we will look for a solution and the problem will be resolved remotely if possible, or on site if necessary. Within the product warranty, defective parts will be replaced free of charge.

Annual report

Zonnefabriek compiles an annual report showing a report of the yield of the PV installation.

During the term of the Service Contract, in case of a malfunction, you can contact Zonnefabriek's malfunction service (by email to service@zonnefabriek.nl or by phone at +31206766614).

Scope 12 inspection

Update August 2024: certification expired, we are in the process of renewing it

If desired, Zonnefabriek will perform a Scope 12 inspection every three or five years so that your installation meets any requirements of your insurer. This inspection consists of both a visual inspection (inspection for breakage of cables and panels, checking for corrosion, dirt on panels, loose cables and fasteners, shifts of the PV installation and checking of rubbers and seals) and a functional inspection (reading out the inverter, string voltage check and yield analysis). A Scope12 inspection can also be purchased separately from the maintenance contract. Please contact us for more information.

What is Scope12?

The SCIOS foundation, in collaboration with the Association of Insurers, has created a new certification for a solar power system, 'Scope12'. This is a universal method to inspect and certify PV installations. This ensures the quality and safety of PV installations.

What does the inspection entail exactly?

A comprehensive inspection of your solar power system, inspection of the entire electrical installation, inspection of the fire safety of the installation, assessment of the commissioning documentation.

Why Scope12?

Installations that have been inspected according to Scope12 are included in a database that is accessible to insurers. Insurance companies will increasingly require a Scope12 certification, especially for installations with more than 50 panels.

You have the guarantee that your installation is technically safe and insured. You are assured of an optimally functioning system.
